When you request a free pregnancy postnatal personal training consultation your No More Excuses trainer will visit you for your individualised consultation. This meeting takes place at your home & is completely free of charge & of obligation.

On the basis of the information covered in your consultation, your pregnancy and postnatal personal training specialist will devise a unique training programme that fits into your life & works within your capabilities & circumstances.

Your training programme will  include some combination of cardiovascular / aerobic work, & resistance training (using weights), all based around interval training… you can read more about this on the blog pages).

There will definitely be a strong emphasis on functional, restorative core strength restoration.

PS: That means your tummy, lower back & pelvic floor ;-)

Your trainer will bring any equipment needed to conduct sessions from your home. All you need to buy are trainers & a decent bra (or maybe one on top of another if you’re expanding rapidly or breastfeeding).

The programme for your pregnancy postnatal personal training in Surrey and SW London may include power walking or jogging, cycling, swimming or boxing, as well as strengthening, stretching & relaxation exercises. It may incorporate Pilates or yoga poses, using techniques & positions to strengthen your core muscles & aid relaxation & flexibility.

It goes without saying that we are able & willing to accommodate the needs of mothers in our training sessions, & all our trainers are used to having babies & / or toddlers present!

Unlike dealing with creche bookings or other childcare arrangments, just try book your sessions for when you have (hopefully!) a little time to yourself: if you have a small baby this may be naptimes, mum-helping-out-times or nursery sessions.

But never feel you have to have your children (of any age) ‘out of the way’.
