		<description>I remember hearing that it takes up to 12 attempts for a child to &#039;take&#039; to a new food, and most people give up at about 3 or 4 attempts. I know I did. It&#039;s great to know that it can take a while and to keep trying here and there -epseically when they are hungry and more likely to just eat it! my kids who are now 6 and 9 are good eaters. It was worth the persistance.
